Store the installed packages via YUM into cache permanently


1. Open the /etc/yum.conf file in a text editor as root.
#vim /etc/yum.conf
2.Change the line.
keepcache=0 to keepcache=1
3.Now after installation of any package via YUM like MySQL.
yum install mysql
4.Go to your cache directory /var/cache/yum. You’ll notice that the RPM’s will be available as cache even after installation.
